In partnership with Focus BC and Devoteam G Cloud, Google Cloud presented Cidades Inteligentes by Google Cloud. A roadshow that connected multiple municipalities of Portugal, north to south, with the objective of presenting transformative and innovative solutions in the smart cities area.
These were the regions chosen for the roadshow:
Faro, Hotel 3HB: March 23
Coimbra, Hotel Vila Galé: April 6
Famalicão, Sunset House, Hotel Pestana Cidade: April 27
Cascais, Pestana Cidadela: May 25
City as a Platform presented its smart city solution, which enables cities to have full control and visibility over territorial planning and the management of public services across different municipal departments.
During the Cascais event, we also had the opportunity to speak with two of our customers about the importance of City as a Platform in their day-to-day work. These were their testimonials.
Around 200 people showed up for Cidades Inteligentes by Google Cloud in total. Among them, there were municipality presidents, councilors, heads of IT and urban planning departments, GIS technicians, and other public figures in the Portuguese Local Administration.
